Took some time to play. I started by tracing my Star Eater design into paper, then immediately ruining it by throwing inks all over it. It makes for a different creative space, one where youre no longer afraid to ruin a good drawing with experimentation. Which made this way more fun.
Only problem was I had such a trouble getting the silver leaf to stick! Please send advice.
I adore the gaggles of ghosts we made the last few weeks at the studio! Theyre so wonderful.
Two of these were private paint parties. Thats right, you can book your choice of painting for your company party or just fun time with friends.

Hey! I'm Onyx, nice to meet you
I'm just a lil guy trying to live from my passion and who LOVES axolotl (that's probably why you will see them everywhere).
I make a lot of traditional art with Chinese ink, and some digital things with colors, sometimes.

Artist, writer, creative - your value as an artist comes from one simple truth: you are human, and humans make art.
What do you do on a day when you're 86 kinds of tired
Just a little.
A little bit counts.
The only way out is through. That includes your art.
You CANNOT fail at art. Here's why.
Impulsively made a new design to try with my glow-in-the-dark holofoil, (and maybe metallics, too), for tote bags and maybe t shirts. Might make some small edits of line width and such, depending how cutting goes.
But what do you think Wanna see this happen
Let me know if I should hustle to get these made for conventions this month and next!
This is an old daydream I'm breathing new life into. I have a one-shot comic laid out. Thinking. This is me kicking the dust off...can't let AI have all of the fun.
some verse
Now we got climate disasters back-paged
Like school shooting rampages
And killer cops on paid administrative leaves
Nonstop wages for the bullying classes
While we concede our beliefs
To billionaire thieves
Digging nonstop graves
Trying to get more paid
While were all crying
to get more faith
Without dying
Earthly horrors
now merely backdrop
For more catastrophic collapses
Weve lapsed and
Fearful now
Tripping up on what happens now
Mistigram: the #oldschoolASCII logo by axbmusic in front of the paintbrushes reads Make Art Not War. Theres already too much war in the world, never enough art. You dont always have a choice, but until war becomes inevitable, always prioritize art. This #ASCIIart piece was included in the new unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.

Barney who now runs Kick Arts used to run a venue, and did the most fun weekly YouTube( I think, pre tiktok anyway) weekly updates. I met him once and he was a fun, passionate person. Then he stopped running the venue and became more promoter/ consultant: it's a fun t-shirt if you want something different ( are you an old ) ( Over use of word there)

I'm not super happy with the shading but I was trying to get it done quickly before bedtime.
Day 2 of the challenge.
I like orb weavers. They are, to me, the friendliest and most magical of spiders.
Giving this challenge another try.
Dream big.

Elk Horn - Experiment
This is based on the elk horn from my mother-in-law's garden after she passed away. It's flourishing at our place.
Theme for the next batch of shit art
Edit: the people have spoken! Will now sit down to draw princesses - maybe with a hint of space.
